Olympic Rental & Landlord Services | Opening Doors

About

Since 1985 Todd Monohon has owned and managed rental properties in the greater South Puget Sound area and for a short while had other management companies take care of some of his properties. It is out of this experience that Olympic Rental & Landlord Services grew. It is Todd's commitment to create and run a dynamic, people oriented company that goes well beyond the basics of property management in all aspects of service. Our team is living that vision now.

THE KEY PRINCIPLES

Todd believes strongly in four key principles of successful South Puget Sound property management:

1. Relationships are the Key to Opening Doors

Yes property management is about keeping properties fully leased and well maintained and about keeping accurate books and leases current, but in reality it is about relationships. By creating partnerships with all involved Olympic Rental & Landlord Services creates a team to "manage" the property - providing:

  • Freedom for owners from daily management - opening doors to life.
  • 24/7 service for tenants - opening doors to homes.
  • Strategic property selection for businesses- opening doors to success.
  • Prompt communication with & payment to vendors - opening doors to quality service.

2. Act now - plan for the Long-Term

Only people who know how to "get it done" work with and for Olympic Rental & Landlord Services. Efficient use of time, prompt decision-making, outstanding communications and "can do" attitudes are required of out property managers. This means better value for South Puget Sound rental property owners, better service for tenants and profitable relationships for vendors and trades-people.. However, it is not just about the short term. Every job should be completed with an eye to the long-term. Let's do it right the first time and plan on how this will affect us in the long-run.

3. Community Involvement

We all live, work and play in the South Sound â?? Lacey, Olympia, Tumwater, Yelm and everywhere in between. Why wouldnâ??t we want to make the entire community a better place? By volunteering in service organizations, donating to charitable causes and participating in professional organizations it becomes increasingly easier to get things done when it comes to oneâ??s own business. Literally knowing and networking with thousands of people in the South Sound allows Todd and everyone involved with Olympic Rental & Landlord Services to do a better job. This means fewer vacancies, better maintenance and higher quality service. (ADD APPROPRIATE SPACE HERE) See other organizations that we support. See some of the organizations that we support.

4. Professional Development

Continually learning and improving is a way of life in our company.  Our property managers, accounts, office personnel and maintenance team are all involved in professional development opportunities each year.  Most importantly we learn from each other due to our team based model.   For instance our licensed property managers are all members of the National Association of Residential Property Managers and regularly attend the regional speaker lunches and conferences. Todd is currently the President of this regional Chapter (with members from Thurston, Lewis, Grays Harbor, Pacific and Mason Counties).
